Who we are
Beracah International Theological Seminary (BITS) is a Christ-centered institution dedicated to advanced training in biblical and theological studies. We offer Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs. Established in Jacksonville, Florida, on August 13, 2022, BITS is firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures. We are committed to academic excellence, doctrinal integrity, and spiritual formation.
Grounded in the authority of God’s Word and the transformative power of the gospel, Beracah International Theological Seminary equips Christian leaders to serve as lights in the world. Our mission is to prepare ministers, educators, missionaries, counselors, and Christian leaders. We help them serve faithfully and effectively through biblical truth, intellectual rigor, and Christ-centered leadership.
Although BITS is a recently established institution, it is guided by a clear vision. We seek to become a leading global center for excellence in biblical and theological education. We remain faithful to historic Christian orthodoxy and evangelical convictions. The seminary aims to address contemporary theological, cultural, ethical, and social challenges with relevance, discernment, and fidelity to Scripture.
Beracah International Theological Seminary maintains a global perspective and an inclusive mission. We welcome students from all nations and Christian traditions. We serve those who seek rigorous theological training and spiritual growth. Our academic programs are delivered primarily online and through distance learning. This enables students to pursue their calling regardless of geographic location, professional obligations, or ministry context.
BITS provides a comprehensive range of programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. We also offer continuing education opportunities. These programs integrate biblical scholarship, theological reflection, leadership development, and practical ministry formation. We place particular emphasis on preparing leaders for ministry, missions, education, counseling, administration, global leadership, and social transformation. At Beracah International Theological Seminary, students can expect to be intellectually challenged, spiritually formed, and practically equipped. They are encouraged to think critically from a biblical worldview and deepen their personal walk with Christ. Students engage the needs of the Church and society with wisdom, compassion, and integrity.
